Common questions
What size do I need?
Measure your wrist and add 1.5cm to 2cm, since leather does not give the way a chain does. Most men order 19cm to 21cm and these run 18.5cm to 22cm. Full guide here.
Can I wear leather in the shower?
No. Water strips the oils out of the hide, and as it dries the leather stiffens and cracks at the fold. Repeated soaking also pulls the dye out. Take it off first, every time.
What if it gets wet?
Dry it flat at room temperature. Not on a radiator and not with a hairdryer, since fast heat is what cracks it. Occasional rain is survivable; a daily soaking is not.
Will it turn my skin green?
No. The clasps and fittings are 316L stainless steel, which contains no copper. More on why cheap jewellery stains here.
How long does leather last?
Kept dry, years. Leather ages rather than fails, and the colour deepens where it creases. Water is the only thing that shortens it sharply.
