      Common questions

      What size am I?

Measure a ring you already wear, or get sized by a jeweller. Ours run US 6 to US 13. Signet rings sit flat and wide, so if you are between sizes, take the larger one. How to measure at home, or go straight to the ring size chart.

Can a signet ring be resized?

No. These are 316L stainless steel, which cannot be cut and rejoined like gold. Pick the size you know and exchange it if it is wrong.

      Is the gold real gold?

The gold signet rings are 18K gold plated over 316L stainless steel, not solid gold. That is what keeps them at this price. Plating is the part that wears, so keep perfume and harsh cleaners off it.

Which finger does a signet ring go on?

Traditionally the little finger of the non-dominant hand. In practice men wear them on the ring or index finger too. There is no rule worth following over what looks right on your hand.

Can I wear it in the shower?

Yes. 316L stainless steel is waterproof and will not rust or tarnish. That goes for the gold plated pieces too. Rinse and dry it after so soap film does not dull the finish.

Will it turn my skin green?

No. Every signet ring here is 316L stainless steel, which contains no copper, and copper is what causes green marks. The gold tone ones are plated over that same steel. More on why cheap jewellery stains here.
