A men's black Damascus steel ring that won't turn your finger green. Over 50 layers of steel are handcrafted into one band, then black IP plated, and the layers show through as a black and grey grain. No two rings have the same pattern. It's hypoallergenic and waterproof, it won't rust, and the black won't fade. The domed band is 8mm wide and 2mm thick, with a comfort fit.
The pattern comes from forging stacked layers of steel together, which is what makes it Damascus. With the black plating the grain looks darker and quieter than on the silver version. Wear it as a wedding band or an everyday ring. The black version also comes in silver.

How to measure your finger
- Wrap a strip of paper or string round the base of the finger.
- Mark where the two ends meet.
- Lay it flat against a ruler and match the length in mm to the circumference column.
Already own a ring that fits? Measure across the inside for the diameter.
If you know your UK size, find your letter in the UK column and order the US size next to it.

Material: Damascus steel
The metal
Damascus steel has a wavy, mottled pattern. Smiths make it by forge-welding layers of different steels together, usually alternating hard and soft ones. That gives a durable, rust-resistant and waterproof metal. Keep it out of chlorinated pools, because chlorine weakens the steel.
Cleaning
Wash it in hot, soapy water, rinse it well so it doesn't mark, and dry it with a microfibre cloth.
