A men's 5mm gold-plated Cuban link chain that won't turn your skin green. It's 316L stainless steel with 18K gold plating, hypoallergenic and waterproof, so it stays on in the shower and at the gym. It won't rust or fade. The chain is 5mm wide with a polished finish and a lobster clasp, in four lengths from 45cm to 60cm.
Cuban links are thick oval links that interlock and lie flat. At 5mm it is the middle width of our Cuban chains. The gold version also comes in 3mm and 7mm.

You pick the length before you add it to your basket, and it doesn't adjust: 45cm (about 18 inches), 50cm (about 20 inches), 55cm (about 22 inches) or 60cm (about 24 inches). On most men, 45cm sits at the base of the neck, 50cm around the collarbone, and 55cm and 60cm hang lower on the chest.

The metal
316L is a stainless steel alloy. It's strong, non-magnetic and handles high temperatures, and it resists corrosion and staining. It needs little looking after, so it suits jewellery you wear every day.
Made from
69% iron, 18% chromium, 10% nickel, 2-3% molybdenum and 0.03% carbon. The maker heats the metals to a very high temperature and quenches them, which gives the steel its crystalline structure.
Cleaning
Wash it in hot, soapy water and rinse it well so it doesn't mark. Wipe it with a microfibre cloth to keep it looking new.
