A men's black onyx circle necklace that won't turn your skin green. A round black onyx stone sits in a 14mm pendant of polished 316L stainless steel, 4mm thick. The steel is hypoallergenic and waterproof, so you can keep it on in the shower and at the gym, and it won't rust or fade. It hangs on a 60cm box chain, 2mm wide, with a lobster clasp.
It's a small round pendant, and the back is plain brushed steel. Onyx is traditionally linked with strength and protection.
Engraving is an optional add-on. We engrave the back of the pendant with up to 40 characters. Pick a font and add a symbol if you like.

The metal
316L is a stainless steel alloy. It's strong, non-magnetic and handles high temperatures, and it resists corrosion and staining. It needs little looking after, so it suits jewellery you wear every day.
Made from
69% iron, 18% chromium, 10% nickel, 2-3% molybdenum and 0.03% carbon. The maker heats the metals to a very high temperature and quenches them, which gives the steel its crystalline structure.
Cleaning
Wash it in hot, soapy water and rinse it well so it doesn't mark. Wipe it with a microfibre cloth to keep it looking new.
