A men's silver tiger's eye pendant necklace that won't turn your skin green. Four steel prongs hold a faceted, emerald-shaped tiger's eye stone in a polished 316L stainless steel setting, 20mm by 10mm. It's hypoallergenic and waterproof, so it stays on in the shower and at the gym, and it won't rust or fade. It hangs on a 60cm rope chain, 2mm wide, with a lobster clasp.
The cut faces of the stone catch the light more than a flat stone does, and the rope chain's spiral links do the same. The silver version also comes in gold. Tiger's eye is traditionally linked with courage and confidence.
Engraving is an optional add-on. We engrave the back of the pendant with up to 40 characters. Pick a font and add a symbol if you like.

The metal
316L is a stainless steel alloy. It's strong, non-magnetic and handles high temperatures, and it resists corrosion and staining. It needs little looking after, so it suits jewellery you wear every day.
Made from
69% iron, 18% chromium, 10% nickel, 2-3% molybdenum and 0.03% carbon. The maker heats the metals to a very high temperature and quenches them, which gives the steel its crystalline structure.
Cleaning
Wash it in hot, soapy water and rinse it well so it doesn't mark. Wipe it with a microfibre cloth to keep it looking new.
