A men's silver onyx square pendant necklace that won't turn your skin green. A black onyx stone is set in a 15mm square pendant with cut corners, in polished 316L stainless steel, hypoallergenic and waterproof, so you can keep it on in the shower and at the gym. It won't rust or fade. It hangs on a 60cm box chain, 2mm wide, with a lobster clasp.
A box chain's small square links echo the square pendant, and the black stone is easy to see against plain steel. The silver square also comes in black and gold. Onyx is traditionally linked with strength and protection.
We engrave the back of the pendant with up to 40 characters over two lines. Pick a font and add a symbol if you like. £10. Engraved pieces can't be returned.

The metal
316L is a stainless steel alloy. It's strong, non-magnetic and handles high temperatures, and it resists corrosion and staining. It needs little looking after, so it suits jewellery you wear every day.
Made from
69% iron, 18% chromium, 10% nickel, 2-3% molybdenum and 0.03% carbon. The maker heats the metals to a very high temperature and quenches them, which gives the steel its crystalline structure.
Cleaning
Wash it in hot, soapy water and rinse it well so it doesn't mark. Wipe it with a microfibre cloth to keep it looking new.
